RAID 6 Recovery

raid 6 data recovery
RAID 6:
Redundancy and data loss recovery capability. It extends RAID 5 by adding an additional parity block; thus it uses block-level striping with two parity blocks distributed across all member disks.

RAID 60 combines the straight block-level striping of RAID 0 with the distributed double parity of RAID 6. That is, a RAID 0 array striped across RAID 6 elements. It requires at least 8 disks. Striping helps to increase capacity and performance without adding disks to each set which would decrease data availability and could impact performance. RAID 60 improves upon the performance of RAID 6.
